Ok, now the EKS cluster is created and you can see the node instance type is t3.medium. Now here, I want to change my instance type to t3.large or in some other instance family. How to achieve via modules. And while doing this what would be an impact?
so if you read the module doc, you can find that there is a way to pass the instance type, you can update it there and run the terraform apply again, it will be a rolling update for the autoscaling group, so Ideally there should not be any impact
@@InfiniteLinux ok, it will do rolling update for auto scaling group on a fly and doesn't effect already running applications.
@@Niruukumar it should not, before terminating any node, kuberenetes will first cordon that node so that no new pods get spun on that, then moves the pod running on that node to another node
Did you find out why it was showing only 1 desired state it should be 3 as per we defined. May be a glitch in AWS not sure 🤔.
actually no, I am not sure what happened, I created the cluster twice after that and it launched the correct number of instances, I'll look at it again when I have some time, I am keeping the faulty cluster running
I dont see the website link in the description? Could you share it again
Hi does we have night shift in devops?
completely depends on the company, no good company today let its employees do night shift
Hello Sir, i have an final technical round with autodesk for Github system administrator . By watching your videos i qualified for the first 2 rounds. I need your information for this technical round with US team. My location in Dublin, ireland the final technical round with US team. I don’t your name sir otherwise i would tried to connected you through linkedin. Please help me Thanks Satya
hey Satya, so if you have cleared the first 2 technical rounds, that's a good sign, because then the 3rd round becomes alot easy as hiring team has already formed an opinion about you, if this round is with some principal engineer, you can expect scenario based questions and questions based on your experience, at autodesk there is no set format for any interview so I can be completely wrong but if you have done your previous rounds well, there;s a 90% chance that you will get through
100% agree. I was thinking about the redhat acquisition when I saw the video title. This is sad news
I am trying to run a gpu enabled container. Can you explain nvidia runtimes? What do they offer as additional features?
hmm, interesting, I have never ventured with gpu enabled containers but this looks like an interesting usecase, let me give it a try
Sir can u suggest which company should I join autodesk or Boeing where job security peace in mind as I can see there is a legal issues going on Boeing some flight crashes but they r offering me better than autodesk i m worried about company declining business or should I ask autodesk to give me higher post than my experience level to match the package
Yes, you should talk to the recruiter and negotiate, as far as companies are concerned, both companies are equally good, Autodesk is a place where you can plan to stay for a long time, I can't talk about Boeing but Glassdoor should give you a good idea
Pretty solid video. This will help me a lot with troubleshooting why my file scanner is not detecting a particular file path (I suspect it has something to do with which partitions are mounted and are being scanned). I would recommend upgrading your mic or trying to record in a more quiet location. The audio comes through like you are underwater.
Noted, thanks for the feedbaco
When we promote secondary to primary, the cluster enters modifying state. During this, will the cluster still be availability for read and write???
Can we able to get the output to SNS via mail
that's for you to explore buddy
@@InfiniteLinux I explored it but not able to find the option to send the output of over SNS.. Only we can able to store in to S3 Or cloud watch log groups.. If there is an option could you please update
Thx for sharing your experience
Most Welcome
Super sir now understood what is API SERVER
Great!!
Very clear instructions and well presented! Thank you.
Im glad you liked the video :)
Are all rounds online only?
depends if you are based out of Bangalore or not
Hi Tariq , thanks for the video, I have cleared the Hiring Manager round and scheduled for the technical round - DevOps next week. 3 rounds, live coding, situational and teck stack. Any suggestion and what sort of question did you encounter for these rounds? Thanks in advance
coding round should be easy, technical round will focus on devops tools and technologies, there can be questions on CI/CD as well, overall the process is quiet easy to clear
Most devops job in linkedin are mid senior level or senior level. How can a fresher get a job in devops when all they want is a experienced candidate?
As a fresher, you would have to stand out from the crowd, if you don't get placed at your college, all the companies do some hiring off campus for freshers, create a strong linkedin network, connect with people from your domain and ask for referrals
Hi!!..Thinks for sharing such useful insights! So I have gone through your whole video and I had a small question. So a family member of mine has recently applied for a role at Autodesk. He has cleared the Managerial round (round 1), round 2 (Technical round) and gave the 3rd Technical round as well. Now according to him the 3 rounds went pretty well and lasted for good 45 mins - 1 hour as you have mentioned. It's been a day almost and there has been no revert from HR. Just wanted to know how long does it take for them to get back to the candidate before proceeding to the next step? Is it required to follow up with them ? Also what would be the next steps which would follow?
It depends on how urgent the hiring is and whether they are interviewing multiple candidates for the position, it may take a week or more in these cases
@@InfiniteLinux Great thanks a lot😊
@@wanderingsoulss anytime
Hii I got apprenticeship software engineer in autodesk which is apprenticeship program for 1 year After that based on project requirement and performance they said they will give full time Is it good to join autodesk for apprenticeship because it is not full time What are the chances to get full time sir?
well they mostly hire interns who work for 3 months so an apprenticeship for a year is great and will mostly result in full time hiring
nice
Thanks
Hi Sir, Good evening I am currently working in sales, How I can make my career in devops I am 24
yes, ofcourse, you have time, you are young, you can make a switch to DevOps
@@InfiniteLinux sir what steps should I take , I'm confused between should I do cat ( MBA ) or prepare for devops as career ( I'd appreciate if you can spare few minutes and guide me on this ) What's the devops career in India. Salary wise and growth
@@MarketingHarsh_ that completely depends on what you want in life, see being a devops engineer sounds very lucarative but it requires alot of efforts and years of dedication, I have met people with over 10 years of experience in Devops who still fail to answer basic questions so it's not that easy as it sounds
🎉🎉
Awesome explanation thanks!
welcome brother!!
Hello i like these kind of videos, please keep us posted thanks
Cool, I will try to create more of these
Sir what is the market in devops, considering I have spejt whole my career in service based companies, 8+ exp
its fine even if you work in a service company, Devops market is good and strong now, and if you are familiar with Devops concepts, tooling then you should be able to make a switch to any product company
Why no data on the panel??
Good question - so I never paid attention to it but there can be a couple of reasons 1) the place where it says NA, probably prometheus is not collecting those metrics 2) It normally takes some time before you see start seeing the metrics.
thank you
HI Sir, Is it mandatory to delete the existing aurora DB to launch the new DB form the snapshot?
No
Can you share the names of the free badges that you have aquired

Its very much informative ❤❤
Glad you liked it
Very good video ! Keep it up
Thanks Nitin
thanks. I am 39 years old. trying to get a fine job in tech. no past work experience. I know python, sql, and have done few projects in django. also have used linux, bash and few aws services. do you think I can get in? I mostly never get interviews calls. what could be the best way forward for me? I do some freelancing on upwork. I want to do freelanincg howevr freelancing is very difficult as projects requirements are very high and no cntinuity in job. tried backend with python but can't say I am that good at it building things or problem solving. also have stared to explore golang. do you think aws or gcp could be good. I can try getting deeper into cloud. but i normally never see fresher roles in cloud and dev ops. can you suggest something. anything that can keep me employed for next few years. thank you.
Hey Sidd, I am not sure what to tell you, I can ask you that you keep trying and you will get a good job in IT but I would be lying to the fact that age is a big factor in the IT industry, I know people stay in denial that it is not, but the reality is that it is, plus nowadays, no one wants a person with just basic knowledge and train them on the job, every company is looking to hire only stellar employees, who can code like cyborgs.
@@InfiniteLinux thnak you. I have kind of started to understand this.

It would be great to see some networking related Tshooting scenarios... issues covering different cni plugins.
Yeah, the idea is good but network-related issues tend to be different for everyone depending on what CNI they are using, so it's difficult to replicate, but will try for sure.

I just gave leadership round on Friday, but i haven’t heard back from recruiters? Do they take so much time? Thanks for making this video really helpful 😊
if they are evaluating multiple candidates, they might take a week or more for them to get back to you.
Ya seems like because for me the process is going on since 13th march
@@Fitwithkritiii yeah, it also depends on the urgency of the position, if it would be an urgent hiring, you would see that the response would be very prompt
